The word ‘gas’ comes from the Greek word 'chaos’. In daily life we know gas as natural gas, which is explosive. We know hundreds of other explosive gases. Sometimes , however, gas is referred to as a toxic compound spreading in the air; then we mean toxic gas. What do we sell/advise in this field?
Gas detection
Imbema Controls B.V. supplies stationary, semi stationary, portable gasdetection and gasleak detection devices. Depending on your requirements, the hazardous sources and the environmental factors, we can advise you to choose type and design of the gasdetection devices. 
ELDStm open path gas detectors
With the introduction of ELDStm (Enhanced Laser Diode Spectroscopy) from Senscient the long existing demand from the industry for open path gasdetection system for toxic gases (a.o. H2S) is fulfilled. However, the unique ELDStm system offers more than that! The ELDStm system can detect toxic gases, inflammable and even combinations thereof selectively and with low detection limits. Therefore, ELDStm provides a substantial improvement in plant security and risk management.
Flue gas analysis
Many of our customers work according to the SCIOS guideline.
The SCIOS guideline is a certification system for companies, that execute maintenance and inspection works in such a way that they meet the legislator's demands. The SCIOS regulation distinguishes the following activity fields for maintenance and inspection: FSI (first/special inspection), PI (periodical inspection) and PO (periodical maintenance). SCIOS also defines a protocol for NOx discharge measurements. Imbema Controls B.V. can supply the right flue gas analyser for each activity field. 
Flame detection
The flame detection equipment of the Canadian manufacturer, Net Safety Monitoring, is of top class quality. This is confirmed by the fact that Net Safety Monitoring's products are on the list of accepted products by lots of multinationals in the oil & gas industry. Besides this Net Safety Monitoring has an impressive reference list. The products program consists of: UV, UV/IR, Triple IR and special designs for detection of hydrogen- and silane-flames.
Smoke- and oil-mist detectors
Net Safety's Millennium Series Smoke and Oil Mist Detector (Airborne Particle Monitor - APM) is an explosion proof, infrared detector designed to monitor air with particles of a.o. smoke, oil, mist, carbon, dust or ashes.
